Hi everyone! Welcome to Annalynn: a beauty and fashion blog. I am so excited to start this journey and share all my favorites with everything beauty and fashion.

A Little Bit About Me:

I am currently a senior in college pursuing my bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I plan on getting my MBA next year in management. I wanted to study marketing because the behind-the-scenes of a brand always fascinated me. Specifically, the behind the scenes of a beauty or fashion brand. If I could

get my way, I’d be Carrie Bradshaw. Ever since I was a little girl, makeup has always lit a fire under me. The creativity involved in creating the look and the way you can transform yourself into anyone you want is what drew me in. The same is true for fashion, although it took me a little longer to figure that out.

I am from New Jersey. Listen, I know when most people hear you are from New Jersey, the first thing they do is say it back to you in an obnoxious New Jersey accent that honestly is not accurate at all, or they bring up the Jersey Shore. But, despite the hate that it gets, I love it here. What I love most specifically is how close I am to two major cities, Philadelphia and, of course, New York City. As a lover of all things beauty and fashion, being an hour train ride from New York City is a dream. This is not at all a travel blog, but if I had to recommend a few spots in the city for fashion lovers, I would say:

• The MET - specifically the fashion exhibit

  • This exhibit is special because it is the one that the MET Gala raises money for.

  • That being said, it is only open for a few months each year, so definitely check that out before booking a trip.

• 5th Ave - this speaks for itself

• Soho - so many cute trendy stores. Many are joking that Soho is now Times Square for Gen Z, with how many Gen Zers visit and take photos there.

• Central Park - this is not at all fashion-related but is just my favorite place in the city.

A Few Other Random Facts

• Paris is my favorite city I have traveled to - I have traveled a fair bit, but by far, the place I think about the most is Paris. There is so much history that I could not take in during my 24-hour visit. Not to mention the Eiffel Tower. It is amazing. It just is so old and, as much as I hate to say it, romantic.

• I love Justin Bieber. This is not related to beauty or fashion, but I feel like it is just a part of who I am and speaks to my personality because I have made it a part of my personality.

• I think I am the funniest person I know. Again, not beauty or fashion related, but as a reader, I feel like knowing this will help you understand my sarcasm or bad humor in my blogs. Again, my personality.
