Ring Ring…. Hello, the '90s are calling.
Hi everyone! Welcome back! Unless you live under a rock, you have probably noticed '90s trends resurfacing. Although 30 years later, we are bringing it back. Let's take a look and see the top 90's trends that are comin' into 2022.
Cargo pants
Cargo pants are my favorite when I want to look cute and trendy but still be comfy. The oversized cargo pant is a staple in 2022 streetwear, and I hope this stays because I am all for being comfy.
2. Bucket hats
You either love them, or you hate them. Personally, I love a good bucket hat, but I know many people have very strong opinions about them
3. Chunky headbands
Hair accessories had their moment in the 90s. Second-day hair? Not a problem. Throw on a chunky headband and save that second-day hair while still keeping it trendy.
4. Claw clips
As a college student, I see girl's wearing claw clips to class on the daily. They are an easy way to get your hair out of your face but not crease it. Also, they're more classy and trendy than a plain hair tie.
5. Biker shorts
I think when we all hear of bike shorts in the 90s, we all think of the iconic picture of Princess Diana wearing them with a crewneck. Bike shorts are the perfect athleisure pant.
6. Straight-leg jeans
Skinny jeans are out! And I, for one, am very thankful. Straight-leg jeans offer a more chill vibe and a level of comfort while still looking well put together and trendy.
7. Platform shoes
In the summer, we saw the comeback of platform sandals and flip-flops! Heading into the fall and winter, we are seeing platform sneakers like Converse, platform slippers like Uggs, and platform loafers for an elevated work fit.
8. Mini bags
Oversized purses are a thing of the past. Now, the smaller the purse, the better! I mean, all you really need is your lip gloss.
9. Slip dresses
For those unfamiliar, a slip dress is one that resembles an underslip. They have little shape and are usually more form-fitting. I think the easiness of this trend is what made it come back. A slip dress can easily be put on, and you have a whole look ready to go

10. Baby-tees
I know what you're thinking, and no, a baby-tee is not one meant for a baby. The baby refers to its small length, like a crop top. Usually, they have funny sayings on them and are very casual, but nevertheless, they are a fun way to amp up a basic fit.
11. Leather blazers & jackets
Leather blazers are the perfect jacket to dress any look up!
12. Graphic-tees
If you had asked me a few years ago if graphic tees were going to be trendy, I would have said absolutely not. But now, I'm obsessed. I think they are so cool and fun.
