3. Blake Lively: In America: An Anthology of Fashion, 2022 by Versace

  1. This year Blake Lively was the co-chair of fashion’s greatest event, and she wore a Versace gown that paid tribute to the Statue of Liberty. It changed from a fully copper dress to copper and green when untied.

4. Kim Kardashian: In America: An Anthology of Fashion, 2022 by Jean Louis

  1. I would say this dress is one of the more controversial dresses in recent years. Kim Kardashian paid tribute to Marilyn Monroe by wearing her “Happy Birthday Mr. President” dress which Monroe wore at John F. Kennedy’s birthday party. Kim wearing this dress caused controversy for many reasons, from Marilyn should be the only one to wear it to then losing weight quickly to fit into it. Either way, the dress was a moment, and people talked.

5. Rihanna: Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, 2018 by Margiela

  1. I don’t think there is anything more iconic than Rihanna as the Pope. Like enough said.

6. Cardi B: Camp: Notes on Fashion, 2019 by Thom Browne

  1. Besides this gown being totally stunning, it featured $250,000 worth of rubies and 30,000 feathers.

8. Jared Leto: Camp: Notes on Fashion, 2019 by Gucci

  1. I truthfully don’t know what to say about this one. Other than the image of Jared Leto carrying around his head has been ingrained in my mind for the last three years.

9. Cardi B: In America: An Anthology of Fashion, 2022 by Versace

  1. Cardi B was dripped out head to toe in gold chains. A spokesperson of Versace said it was a mile of golden metal chain stitched into tulle fabric.

10. Zendaya: Camp: Notes on Fashion, 2019 by Tommy Hilfiger

  1. Zendaya is a fashion icon of her own, and so is Tommy Hilfiger. The two collaborating led to a light-up Cinderella dress. This dress is every little girl’s dream.

Justin Bieber: In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, 2021 by la maison Drew

  1. Honestly, Justin Bieber’s look is just a modern take on a classic black suit which is fun. He designed it himself. The la maison Drew is a take on his clothing brand House of Drew.

Let me know your thoughts!
